OUR MISSION
Creating memorable experiences for life's unforgettable moments.
OUR STORY
Hello! I'm Dannon, the Owner & Founder of Tap the Coast. As a proud Pensacola native, mother, community volunteer, and coffee lover, I am deeply connected to this beautiful area.
In 2018, I discovered the mobile bar and beverage service industry and was instantly captivated by it. I realized there was nothing like it in Northwest Florida and saw an opportunity to bring something fresh and exciting to our community. This venture combined my passion for people, entertaining, and creative, Pinterest-worthy designs. Thus, Tap the Coast was born.
Our journey began in late 2019 with the launch of our vintage camper, marking the panhandle’s first mobile bar experience. Starting a business just before a pandemic was challenging, but with determination, support from an incredible network of industry professionals, a fantastic team, and dedicated mentors, we persevered. Today, Tap the Coast proudly boasts the largest fleet of mobile bars in North Florida.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand our offerings with various rental options to cater to events of all sizes, from beachside celebrations to rustic barn weddings.
Located in beautiful Pensacola, FL, we serve the entire North Florida panhandle, including Perdido, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, Milton, Jay, Crestview, Baker, Fort Walton, Niceville, Destin, 30A (Miramar Beach, Rosemary Beach, Inlet Beach, Grayton Beach), Panama City, and all points in between.
OUR COMMITMENT
At Tap the Coast, we are dedicated to leading the mobile beverage service industry and making a positive impact in our local community. We continually strive to improve ourselves as individuals, professionals, and as supportive friends and neighbors to those we serve.
THE JOURNEY
Transforming a vintage 1975 Serro Scotty camper into a modern style mobile bar required vision and a lot of work! We photographed the journey from start to finish to tell the story and share our experience. Tap the Coast officially launched November 1, 2019 with our signature bar and things quickly took off from there.
After completing our first build, we decided to step it up a notch and take on yet another challenge converting a horse trailer into a mobile bar with a completely different set up and configuration than the camper. With a clear design plan in mind, we were able to transform the trailer in just 90 days from start to finish. The project was completed in May 2020, just six months after our initial launch. Phase III added the Italian Piaggio and our featured bar rentals - the tap wall and bar cart. Our inventory now includes two pop-up bars that are easy to transport and set up for smaller events or as a satellite station for larger events.
In addition to the bar rentals and bar services, we also host cocktail making classes that have further expanded our reach. Check out our page dedicated to classes for more info. The future of Tap the Coast will continue to evolve as we meet the needs of our clients. Eventually our dream would be to have a brick and mortar location that offers a permanent home for our classes as well as an inviting space for quality bar and drinkware, specialty gifts and unique items to elevate your beverage experiences at home.
